CME - Central Mine Equipment Company

Central Mine Equipment Company was founded in St Louis, Missouri in 1928. Their initial product line included augers, cutters and related accessories for the coal mining industry. In 1962, CME introduced their first drill rig, the CME-55.

Today, CME designs and manufactures a complete line of drilling equipment for the geotechnical, environmental, mineral exploration, and construction industries. CME builds a complete line of hollow-stem and continuous flight augers, auger accessories and sampling systems. CME also produces rubber-tired and tracked all-terrain carriers.
